The new 62 S launches world premiere in November this year at Auto China 2006 in Shanghai. The 62 S which Maybach called “ a league of its own when it comes to luxurious chauffeur-driven cars", looks differently than the original 62 and goes further squeezing with its sportiness demonstrated by wider side sills and a pair of cool tailpipes, triangular in shape. However it proffers a meekly looming vertical waterfall grille and multi-spoke 20- inch wheels. 

Powered by a soaring version of 6.0-liter twin turbocharged V12, the new 62 is sought to possess more horsepower and a grand total of 737 lb-ft of torque which has been electronically restricted to put off damage to the drivetrain. It might not be as fast as the 57 S doing 60 mph dash in less than five, but 62 S has something to offer being longer, heavier, and having the remarkable stylish private-jet rear seats that can be fully reclined. 

Maybach is holding out a monochrome, silver and gross black paint layout.
